🚀 New Feature Release: DryFire Mode

Maximum Precision – Zero Wear.

We are excited to announce the new DryFire Mode for BulletHawkHM. This feature allows you to integrate standard laser training systems into your workflow, enabling high-quality practice whenever and wherever you choose.

The Advantages of DryFire Training:

  • Cost-Efficient: Practice without ammunition costs or mechanical wear on your target boards.

  • High-Definition Analysis: Since there is no physical damage to the target, even the tightest "hole-in-hole" groups remain clearly visible and easy to analyze.

Precision Sync via Y-Offset

Because a laser beam follows a perfectly straight line while a projectile follows a ballistic curve, we have implemented the Y-Offset adjustment. This allows you to synchronize your laser line with your line of sight, ensuring realistic results even when training with a pre-zeroed weapon.

⚠️ Technical Disclaimer: This mode is not intended for zeroing a real weapon. A laser travels in a straight line, whereas a bullet follows a trajectory (parabola). While they may align closely at short distances, the ballistics differ significantly from the behavior of light.

Video Analysis Features

Check out our first intro video for DryFire Mode. Pro-Tip: BulletHawkHM also supports post-session analysis. You can upload recorded training videos directly into the software to evaluate your performance after your practice session.

Video Details / Setup:

  • Range: 10 meters

  • Equipment: 4.5  (DryFire laser)

  • Course of Fire: 6 shots

  • Test Condition: Benchrest / Fixed rest (weapon clamped for precision testing)

Stay tuned! More demonstration videos are currently in the works.
